A non loaded question like,

" am I wasting my time taking my brand X pipes off my bike before I bring it in for MOT"

doesn't back anyone into a corner, best done in person at the testing station before you take it in.

The regs for MOT have changed as long as "not for road use" or "race use only" is not visible on the cans you should be OK.

Ray.

cool the gianelli (spelling) pipes but have no markings on them, the markings are on the plates but have never been riveted on

.....alternatively from above.....join the DSC club, get a roundall and I'm sure someone local will lend you some std ones for the mot if you cant find a station!! or get some DB killers - as long as they arent stamped not for road use or race use only, and are not toooooo loud, you should be ok. Failing that, get it done at an official Ducatii dealer - how could they ever fail it?!
