Question Urgently needed, a lenght of rubber brake hose.
Help, i urgently require a section of rubber brake hose for my superlight.
the standard section of hose from the rear res to rear brake cylinder is too short for my latest rearsets.
has anyone a lenght of rubber hose approx twice the standard lenght I can purchase from them ASAP , today /tommmorow preferably.

Any motor-factor should have some.

Well, you might be in luck ... I have a brand new braided hose from a set I bought off ebay.
Its 105cm from end to end, with straight fittings.
I offered it up against the underslung rear caliper on the beast and it looks the right kind of length. It might be a clutch hose really of course, so check the fittings you need before you answer.
And of course I'm not very far away from you !

Phil its the rubber hose from the fluid pot to the mastercylinder thats required.
Lot of motor factors DON'T stock this they usually palm you off with fuel hose, which then sweats.
I got mine from DTR off his race support van in the paddock, A&R racing also stock it

doh !!!

I still might be able to help anyway - the standard SS hose to the res is about 12cm, and I have a spare 916 rear master cyl with a 23cm length on it ... sounds about double to me

thanks for the replies guys.
Most motor factors near me will not stock it as skid mentions.
I'm off down to pro-twins tommorow on a ride, so they may have something.
Phil , you have PM, thanks, you're first on my list mate.

cheers guys.
