best, quickest way to scrub in new rubber.
had to have a pair of diablo corsa fitted to the superlight yesterday, only cost a megre £230 fitted,(nearly fell through the floor)have bike tyres gone up recently or what.
Anyways, I don't really fancy pootling around for a 100 or so miles to get them scrubbed in to be honest. Is there any quick way of getting them scrubbed up a bit quicker.
how about getting a sander on them for a light whizz over with a fine pad, just to take that shinny new surface of them, and getting them a bit grippy.

any thoughts.

I normally get a rag, put some petrol on it (honestly) and wipe over the tyres.

This removes the releasing agent from the factory and a degree of slipperyness.

Then I tend to do about 2 laps, and it's done - so I can't help you with the rest.

Twenty miles and a couple of roundabouts should do it.

Meet me at Box tomorrow morning for the Surrey run, lend me the bike (you ride mine) and I promise they'll be OK by Newlands
