Chris, the 175 / 200 in the gold / purple ( i know its not really purple)
Dad has 2, he working on them now. he's got pretty well everything he needs and then some. If they turn out aswell as the others then i cant wait to see them.
He's a sucker for originality though, even down to the original tyres and hand pump that was fitted on the 250. i think the 250 is a 1968 model. does this ring a bell ? its dark red with a chrome area on the tank. the 350 he's finished is a later model, in blue with gold striping i think.
I bet you would both have plenty to chat about with the same rare bikes. Would i be correct in thinking the tanks are worth a small fortune alone even in pretty battered condition ?
he sugested i flog the RC30 and buy a few classics to restore myself. i suspect it was spoling for a fight when i leave it over there parked up next to the others in the garage.
