I think the secret of Dom's success is he's (a) a bl00dy good rider (b) small and lythe (c) determined. Oh, and he didn't crash this year when it mattered- thereby going against DD tradition.

And well done to Chass for all the TLC he gave that bike. It's a real credit to you too. You're a great team. Dom provides the 'aloof rider who wouldn't touch his bike with a spanner' and Chass provides the 'I'm just the grease monkey' attitude that's obviously what's needed to win a series. Look at Phil and Pete (Fordie)/Nelly Cornerspeed. That must be the secret.

If someone volunteers to be 'your monkey' are you sure you won't spank it?

You have to be in it to win it, Dickie Using your mother's birthday as an excuse not to go to Snetterton - weak, very weak - you wouldn't catch Phil or Dom coming up with a pathetic reason not to attend like that. Look at Ali, newly married, completely forgot it was Saara's birthday yesterday. Didn't even cross his mind.
