Doh - another one bought
Not a ducati, but i have found my new winter project. Saw this about 3 mins before end, and in an impulsive moment took a bid at the end, and won.
Already got one the same which after restore hasnt turned a wheel in over 4 years (and have owned 2 more since and sold them on), but found myself getting drawn thinking about putting it back on the road.
I think a full strip over winter and restore, and it will be great to use next summer if i take the RC30 off the road.
Anyway for the money for a genuine rare UK bike it was a bargain

Cheers henners, i actually have a mint restored 1989 import, i think i may make the UK one mint and swop the plastics over before selling on the 1989 and keep the UK one. it would look pretty cool next to the RC30 i think
One day i will go for the full set, RVF400 and the RC45 too.
yep thats my goal in life to have all 4 sat together

That looks like a great buy and in the best colour scheme. I bought one as a project about 2years ago, mechanically it was great but looked a wrecker! Scoured ebay for plastics, had it painted and fitted a full JHA wsb system, gave it to the other half and she loves it, they are beautiful little bikes

That looks like a bargain to me!

I can still remember the first time I saw one ( At the TT ) and being bowled over by the styling.

I have only ridden one once , but returned the bike with a huge grin on my face
