Laptop Help Needed
I have acquired a Dell Latitude laptop that my previous employers seem to have lost interest in Anyway I can't remember the password, how can I get in and how do I remove the need to login as I want to let my daughter use it?

Webby, is it the BIOS (the powering up) password or the Windows logon (presumably it's Windows) password?

If it's the BIOS p/w, you'll need to partially dismantle the laptop to disconnect the CMOS battery to delete the BIOS settings (including the p/w).
If it's the Windows logon ... hmmm ... suggest a total re-format using a startup disk and re-installing Windows.
