Wink Too much Carbon ???
I have a dilemma...... is it possible to have too much Carbon on your bike :-)

In the summer I had a small off on my 999s, so i replaced the lhs fairing panels but lived with the scrape on the monoposto rear 'seat'.

Then last week a DP Carbon rear 'seat' came up on ebay so i bought it.

So the question is should i get it painted or leave all that lovely carbon on show ???

The standard bile with a red and white tail looks great...... alternatively with the termi carbon cover, carbon hugger, heel gurads and exhaust pipe thingy the whole back of the bike woulf be carbon ........ IS THIS TOO MUCH :-)

Opinions please and does anyone else have a totally carbon back end ???

Answers on a postcard please !

PS shall try to upload a pic, dont presently know how !

Cool ebay bargain ???
I paid £180 for the carbon tail, it came from a ducati dealer and was marked with a price of £320.

On the paint scheme i was thinking of white number boards and red around the seat with carbon showing through the gaps and along the sides.......

Cool bloody hell......
ask 3 people for an opinion and get 6 replies !

Am thinking i will fit the carbon tail 'naked' for the moment to see how it looks and whether i like it that way, can then get it pained if i want :-)

PS, that pic is a very trick 999, BIG number plate though haha

Unlike the UK German plates hold more information, hence they are slightly larger. You have the area your from, then if you only ride the bike x amount of months of the year on the road say march to october then you have additional 03\10 on the plate, then you have the tax sticker and area the bike is registerd sticker.

Unfortunatly they are also simple pressed ally not very astheticaly pleasing
