mp3 to standard cd ???
i know how clever you lot are
so i've got a 170mb mp3 file i need to convert to cd format(whatever that is)
then split into seperate files and copy on to cd
bein i'll probably only do this once i dont want to be buying any software

i have got nero 6
i thought i should be able to do it with this, but cant seem to work it out
so any clues??

I take it by "CD Format" you mean you want to create audio CDs? i.e. a standard music CD. iTunes or Windows Media Player will do this quickly for you. You'll only be able to put on 70-80mins of music in audio CD format.

You'll have to chop the mp3 first using nero into lengths no more than 70 mins. Then burn to CD audio format.

Within Nero when you start the wizard is will ask you what you want to create, select new audio CD, Nero will do the conversion process from MP3 to CDA then burn away
