OK don't stone me for posting a non Ducati topic.

I'm just interested to hear if any other DSC member owns a working Springer Spaniel ? Reason I'm asking is that I'd like to find someone who is interested in reciprocal dog caring for holiday breaks.

In short someone who (like me) ain't too keen on putting their dog in kennels but would prefer to see it looked after by another like minded owner.

Not sure if it was an "idle chat" or "general" post but I'm sure the WT will move it if necessary.

I have one , and he definately doesn't work ...

Just sits around the house all day contributing nothing to the family coffers ...

Not sure how the wife, other than with perscription medicines would cope with another !!

Does yours howl like a ******* when left alone?

Sounds Ideal, really appreciate your offer. Dobermans are a great breed and their bad image is undeserved, we’ve trained loads for security work and the only bad ones were down to bad owners so I know yours will be fine. We’re looking to have 4 to 6 weeks away next spring to visit my Sister in NZ, will email you so we can fit in with dates that suit you.

As you are obviously into serious dogs could I be really cheeky and ask you to look after the Great Dane as well ?

Thanks again, you’re a star !!!

Bit young yet, have patience, they are a great breed just need a fair bit of training.
