Yes for all those interested in the 1098, why not visit www.ducati.ms or www.1098-forum.com, as this is where these as well as hundreds of other pictures emanated from (some considerable time ago, though no disrespect to you Gordon). Is it me or is there a delay in 1098 info reaching UK forums? (Gordon I see you have popped up on one of the "over the pond" forums recently, as has 900 Man) The reason I have been lurking and posting on both these sites is the wealth and more importantly the speed information gets posted up and is made available. Motocicilsmo's article (the first ever track test of the bike and plagarised by MCN two weeks later), daily updates and pics of the Kyalami launch report, pre MCN "front page scoop" official pictures posted up two days before they went to press, information on the bike's DDA system almost a month before the launch and much more. The point is that all this information was furnished way before anyone else and a lot of what is now known has been available on either of these sites for quite some time. I am not having a pop at this forum as it has been as useful as any other to me over the past few years, BUT why is it we seem to be starved of good contacts, sources and info compared to our American colleagues. There are one or two members on the US thread who are obviously very well connected as the info and pictures that appear seem to be always one step ahead of the press and official channels. In this information hungry world of ours, it's a veritable fountain of knowledge. Was just hoping we might have our own insider or two on here, as it saves on cross posting and endless links to other forums, moreover the DSC can stake a claim in the "breaking news" arena.

I think you'll find a lot of us aren't really that bothered by the new 1098 and are happy with what we have
