Nc30 has gotta go......
hi all,
decided to sell my Nc30 because im just too freaking big for the bike.
I scared myself the other day and measured myself and im just under 6ft 4.

went on a rideout to wales and my wrists just hurt like hell after.and my back.

so in a month or so will sell her.

thinking of getting a kwak 600.1998 or newer as thats all i can afford really.
they fit me well, sound lurvly with a blue flame exhaust, reliable and are quite quick.

pity tho.....i did love the nc30,handles like a dream.my 125 would beat it in corners but the nc30 was very stable.and did sound nice for a standard bike but after a few tweeks from mogwais tuning bike shop, she was much quicker

I thought the site was about loving and appreciating DUCATI's...:P

Aint nothing wrong with a Kwak Jewell.
Brother in law has a zx4...sounds beautiful. Cheap, cheerful and rides like a dream.
In fact after I'd had a go I had to have a lie down!
But from a design point of view italian bikes are the best.

Jeepers Ed, hadn't realised you are 6'4" - NC30 is NOT the bike for you then - you've obviously discovered they're tiny, even for me at 5'7".

A 600 will bump your insurance up quite a bit I would have thought, but can't think of any other options.

I know it's a bit sad this, but my advice would be to forget the sporty stuff for a while, get something cheap n cheerful, build up some experience and a NCB and then get the bike you always wanted. You'll save a bucketload of money as well.

I would look at sometinhg unfaired to as on faired bikes, it seems to double insurance on fully comp for obvious reasons.

I paid £1400 fc for my new 748s last year, and now looking at 2k after my claim and points.

At the end of the day its your age, I'm 23 and had 5 years ncb last year.

Makes you want to get old sometimes NNottttt!!!!!!

Noooooo.sorry but the whole point of me getting a bike is for the corners.all other bikes i find are boring.

sports tourers will deffo be more comfortable but then u cant crank it over as much and i would be bored in a week.

and road runner,im a student,im 18 and the only ducati i can afford is a 2nd hand monster, which are sweet bikes but not me.plus my insurance will be sky high.

and i dont want a ducati untill i have abit more bike maintance skills and tools.
