The Panigale V4 Tricolore takes centre stage at Expo Osaka during the week dedicated to Emilia-Romagna

  • From 21-27 September 2025, the Italy Pavilion at Expo Osaka will host the week dedicated to Emilia-Romagna, an international showcase of the region's excellence
  • Ducati and Ferrari have been chosen by the Region to showcase the Motor Valley and the values that make it unique to the world
  • Ducati will put on display the Panigale V4 Tricolore, a collector's model that celebrates the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer's history and pays homage to Made in Italy

Borgo Panigale, Bologna/Osaka (Japan), 22 September 2025 – Ducati is bringing to Japan the Panigale V4 Tricolore, the star of the Emilia-Romagna Week at Expo Osaka 2025, scheduled for September 21-27 in the Italy Pavilion. A collector's motorcycle that celebrates the art of engineering and the Italian spirit that inspires every creation from the Borgo Panigale motorcycle manufacturer.

The Universal Expo, currently underway on the artificial island of Yumeshima until 13 October 2025, is a global showcase where participating countries display their cultural, economic, scientific, and manufacturing heritage. During the months of the exhibition, the spaces of the Italy Pavilion will host the Italian regions on a rotating basis, each representing Italian know-how and exhibiting the best of Made in Italy.

As part of this rotation, the week dedicated to Emilia-Romagna kicked off on 21 September, inaugurated in the presence of the President of the Emilia-Romagna Region, Michele De Pascale, and Vice President Vincenzo Colla. A rich calendar of events intended to introduce the Japanese and international public to a region that combines industry, universities, cutting-edge research centres, tourist attractions, culture, and gastronomy, the cradle of the Motor Valley and home to the most important two- and four-wheeled brands, with two symbols chosen to represent it: Ducati and Ferrari.

Both selected by the Region as examples of excellence capable of expressing a passion for high performance, Ducati is exhibiting the Panigale V4 Tricolore in Osaka, a limited-edition and numbered collector's motorcycle that features a tricolour livery inspired by the colours of the Italian flag and the black and white of the chequered flag, instantly evoking sportiness and racing competition.

Completing the Motor Valley narrative is the Ferrari 296 GTS: together, the Borgo Panigale and Maranello manufacturers illustrate the strength of this unique area, where passion, ingenuity, and know how intertwine with innovation and vision of the future, giving life to products capable of thrilling enthusiasts of every generation.

With its participation in Expo Osaka 2025, Ducati reaffirms its role as an ambassador of Made in Italy excellence worldwide, bringing to Japan the values that have always defined it: Style, Sophistication and Performance.
