Ducati Lenovo Team: positive feedbacks from Jerez Test and steps forward

A productive Monday for the Ducati Lenovo Team during the official test at Jerez de la Frontera with Marc Márquez and Francesco Bagnaia. On track with the Desmosedici GP, it was a day of testing with a pressing rhythm and busy schedule to evaluate a new update package and aerodynamic innovations.

Among the first guys on track at the opening of the session, Marc and Pecco ended with a positive balance and significant lap times. Marc, with a best lap of 1'36.277, sits in 4th position in the standings with 78 laps. A time of 1'36.671 for Pecco in 10th place (59 laps).

The next event is scheduled for both, in just under two weeks, in Le Mans for the French GP at the historic track that hosts the 24-hour legendary race (May 15-17).

Marc Márquez (#93 Ducati Lenovo Team) – 4°
"A long day, with 80 laps, but fun! We tested many configurations and I am happy with the steps forward, especially in some aspects of the riding. The balance is positive and we can take advantage of a further test in just under three weeks in Catalunya to understand the potential of the new aerodynamics. On a test day like today, the track has a lot of rubber from the race and the feelings, especially in the afternoon, all seem positive due to the grip. Let's analyze the data and understand when to introduce the new features".

Francesco Bagnaia (#63 Ducati Lenovo Team) – 10°
"I am satisfied: in terms of aerodynamics, the tests went well. We need to analyze the data but the balance is positive. We also worked a lot on the problems experienced during the race weekend to have more confidence in the front end and be able to stop the bike better. I am happy with the steps forward that I hope we will also confirm at Le Mans".
