The Balaton Park Circuit (Hungary) to host the fourth round of the 2026 WorldSBK season

The Superbike World Championship is revving up again, this time at the Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary.
The Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team is already hard at work on the Hungarian track, aiming to continue the extraordinary run of results achieved by Nicolò Bulega and Iker Lecuona on their respective Ducati Panigale V4 R machines.

The Italian rider has, in fact, won the first nine races of the 2026 season, which, added to the last four victories in 2025, have enabled him to equal the historic Superbike record of 13 consecutive wins set by Toprak Razgatlioglu.

Lecuona is also making great strides, having been one of the standout performers at the Assen round, where he took the lead in both Race 1 and Race 2 before finishing, as he did at Portimão, with three second-place finishes.

Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #11)
“Although it's not an ideal circuit for my riding style, last year I still managed to finish second in both Race 1 and Race 2. The aim, as always, is to be competitive right from the first free practice session on Friday morning. The record of 14 consecutive wins? I'm not thinking about it. If it happens, it will be because we've done our job well in Race 1.”

Iker Lecuona (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #7)
“I certainly can't say I have fond memories of this circuit. Last year's crash, in fact, came at a very crucial moment for my season. I feel lucky, however, to be here now and to look back on the recent past after securing six consecutive second-place finishes. We're making progress race by race, and I believe we can be very competitive at Balaton Park too.”
