Brembo radial MC
So gonna buy the above...but what bore/ratio do I need.

748 with P4 calipers? I've read that either on offer will do...but which is better, which gives best performance?

All the variants are 19mm bore. It's the leverage ratio that changes.
x16, x18 and x20 are available.
x20 is the most common.
x16 will give the most feel, x18 will decrease the feel, but be easier to pull and x20 will give the least feel but will be the lightest pull.
Prices do differ depending upon ratio to, but not by much.

IMO the brembos are overpriced for what they are - on the continent you get CNC machined cylinders with flip up levers (saves the lever if the bike goes down) for about 200 euros, not only are they TUV approved but they also have a brake switch fitted.

For just a bit more than the cost of a Brembo you can have matching clutch and brake radial cylinders!

BTW whats with the gay new smilies on the board (i think the lol and :d ones are the wrong way round too)

In case you still haven`t got a definative answer, found this in the Brembo Cat:

Lever Ratio................................. Recomended Fitment
20mm..........................................OE twin caliper. Popular for road
18mm..........................................Raci ng twin caliper
16mm..........................................125c c+ / Supermoto single caliper

"18 is recomended for use with Brembo racing calipers and 20 for all other makes of caliper" hope it helps

Cheers Karl...yep...I'm thinking 18mm, combination of both feel and strength.
