Slip Clutch
I keep reading about the slip clutch, is this a track mod, or am i gonna be locking the back wheel up when I change down a notch or two?? not got me Duke yet, bit getting a bit pensive when i read about the clutch thing!!!!

Don't worry about it mate. Due to the amount of engine braking, it's far easier to lock the real wheel on a bit v-twin as opposed to an inline four. You need to drop down the gears pretty hard for it to happen so on your average road ride it won't be happening much, if at all, so don't worry about it.

All the slipper clutch does is, well, slip the clutch until the rear wheel speed is slower so it doesn't lock up. I'd say invaluable on the track, but a bit overkill for the road.

You know what its like, can't wait to get her, trying get genned up on all the info/mods, but then start thinking christ what have I bought!!!!
