Thats a real bummer Steve, as it looked as if you were enjoying racing it at Combe.
As you say quite a few identifiable parts so lets hope someone somewhere spots it

Little scumbags

Can't see it being stolen to be used in racing as the community is too small, same for breaking for parts for sale, it would be fairly easy to spot a non-DD person selling parts, more likely some kids having a laugh on it overnight and it's lying in a field somewhere. We found some stolen bikes from the school I teach at like that, we just rode around the area looking in the lanes and in fields and found them behind hedges etc

Absolutely gutted for you Steve

Was really looking forward to you getting used to the bike and improving as you get a feel for it as I did.

Anyone who spots something out of the ordinary that looks DD contact Steve or me as I built the bike from the ground up with the exception of Nelly who did all the work on the motor and complicated bits I couldnt do like those bloomin cush drives!!!

Best of look on your search

ps, they tyres aren't corsas just Diablos as we know them & gold carriers on the brake disks have started to go silver.

Andy

Wasn't kids, it was 3 or 4 adults. I think it was a misguided stolen-to-order job. Someone who's seen it briefly tells his mate it's a 1098 etc. They broke into the house and searched for and took only keys, including a full set for a bike that could have been unlocked and ridden away without having to make noise opening garage doors or yard gates, either of which could have been alarmed.
Steve.

Sad to hear. Being broken up right now and parlayed out I imagine. With all of you looking at all the sales outlets, you should be able to track this down. Best of luck!!
