900ss Vs 900s
been trying to find out but so far can only see these differences.
Obviously the paint, steel swingarm, slightly different forks.
Anything else?

Not a great deal. Mechanically the same. A lot of S's were imports so check history on them. They wouldn't be on the "network" for recall checks for instance but in the 900's case these would've been few and far between.
As an aside, the SS's are pretty good money so if you can find one close on price, i's go for the SS as the spec' is obviously better.

Got the sport on the system as a 2002 model year only bike.

non adjustable forks, 3 spoke wheels, senna grey colour only, steel swingarm.

not THAT much difference then really.
Maybe get a few stickers on it and change the wheel colour, maybe the swingarm, add a an open cluth cover etc, could lift it just enough

Hi all, I'm new to this forum. I have a 900 Sport 2002 I got 8 months ago. It was first registered in 2011 only 6k miles on the clock, very nice bike. It's my first Ducati, so I cannot compare that much, but The 3 spoke wheels are different, engine and ecu and all are exactly the same as SS even says SS on them. The rear shock is lower quality as well. Very nice bike tho and rides really well. I've opened the airbox put a Power commander on it and changed exhausts to remus slip ons. Rides and sounds great! It's matt black, which is another color they did for the '02 ones.

Welcome!

Always nice to have another SuperSport in the gang.

Does not really matter what spec you have as long you enjoy it!

But thats easy with an SS
