Talking Bathurst 1000 - The race that really stops a nation.
It's on now! V8 Supercars, a classic circuit, amazing history, and for this year, Troy Bayliss - although he qualified last row.

1000km - 6 hours, 7 pitstops, driver changes, wet weather, dry weather!

Just sitting down for a full 'english' to fill me up for a big day of motorsport on the box.

Try and catch it if you can!

Finished catching up on this last night. Pity Bayliss crashed out but he was a fair way in and got it a bit wrong at the top of the mountain, which is pretty treacherous! Some awesome driving though!

Watched it Sunday night and as usual an absolute corker of a race, especially with the safety car towards the end.

All the more special for me as I actually got to have a go round the track back in 2001, going off Skyline and dropping off the edge is just amazing.
