Snetterton 300 TD 27/2/2011
Just got back from a great, sunny but very cold TD on the new 300 circuit.

Needed to run in the engine, scrub in new Dunlops and check out the winter suspension mods, so the 1st wet session was a bit nervy!
Then 2nd session a dry line appeared and everything was coming together well.. The sun was shining and the new layout is terrific!! albeit not that grippy yet.

I was in Fast Group and blown away on the straights but reeling quite a few in on the brakes and corners
The 3rd and 4th session were great but had fueling issues 3 laps into the 5th, so called it a day (was gonna pack up after that one anyway as the wind had picked up and there were dark clouds looming).

Just got to sort out the fuel starvation prob but otherwise Yessss!

Did I say Lurve!!! the new layout Lol

From the photos iv seen the new layout does look good, am quiet looking forward to riding it, have only had a chance to try the Dunlops in the wet, but was quiet pleased with them myself

Yep they felt good in all conditions today but don't reckon they will last long on a hot dry track.
Perhaps, a test day and race weekend followed by another test day and that will be about it.

What pert but with a little bit of bounce and the odd jiggle in the countryside?

Tyres no good for Green Laning and off road stuff then

They have added another mile to the infield. Do a search in youtube for "Snetterton 300", or go on the circuit website. The Idea is they can run a slightly modded onld track (the 200), a new mini mile long track (100), or a super long 3 mile track combining the two (the 300). We are racing the 300. I'm sure there was a thread on here about it where Neil and I predicted lap times
