There is someone, somewhere that thinks it best I don't do any practicing for these races!

Picked up my hire van last night, got loaded up and set off this morning. At junction 8a I saw the signs for the services and thought a coffee would be a good thing. Stopped at the lights and couldn't get it into 1st.... or 2nd.... Or any gear for that matter! Clutch is toast. So have been stranded in the middle of the roundabout above M11 for the last hour, finally the RAC has towed me 50m to the services and I wait to hear how the hire company is going to help.

Still sitting in the services at Junction 8a waiting for a tow truck which is going to take me & van to VW Alan Day Bermundsey where there is another van waiting. Problem is that's another 45 mins further south than where i set-off this morning!!

Might make last session if I'm lucky?! Looks like I will be racing another track I haven't seen before without any practice... probably in the wet!

Snap, i cant make it for practice today so first time for me will be tomorrow not only memorys of last year to contend with but also first time new track
