Greetings from Cortona, Italy
Hi folks,

not sure if youll get this cos it wont let me log in normally.

Am having a great time in Italy. Looking forward to getting back to see how the 748R is doing. Will hopefully be half way through the rebuild.

Bit of bad planning that mate.

Last year was based round the WSB rounds I believe?

Enjoy, I know I would, nice bottle of Merlot in your luggage for me mate eh?

Get in touch when you get back.

Hope the rebuild is done for then.

Ciao

Cheers folks,

KB, the weather was a bit crappy for the first day and a half but cleared up thereafter resulting in nearly 30 deg C every day.

Yup I would have liked to have done Misano WSB again Geoff, but they changed the bleedin dates this year and June in our month for holidays so couldn't skulk off for a day at the circuit this year.

No progress on the engine whilst I've been away. Haga's and Haslam's motors took precedence over mine (who do they think they are!!!! ), but I hope to get the new crank balanced and head gasflowed early this week so that the rebuild can start. Fingers crossed.

It'll have Hodgy's old crank and his Corse factory Pankl rods in it which have a shorter stroke. More torque and BHP........Thank you very much, that'll do nicely......

Hope to see you all at a rideout soon.

Gc

Jealous, mate, of your holiday that is. I'll have a bottle of Chianti.
