Being a bit of a electrical numpty can anyone tell me how to fit the later (3 yellow wire) regulator to Toni's monster with the old single phase type wiring?

Connect the 2 yellows from Toni's engine to two of the yellows of the regulator, just insulate the 3rd one so it can't earth out anywhere.

The two reds from the regulator need connecting to the charging fuse on the side of the airbox, the original regulator was connected to this, for the two Blacks (possibly Greens) connect them to earth, I usually connect them so they earth to the Frame and to the Battery.

Just don't bother doing anything with the wires for the charging light
