Wet Clutch partial success
Ok had a closer inspection of the 800 SS clutch and all that is missing are the clutch plates, springs, collars and pressure plate. Everything else is in place. I have managed to source a pressure plate for £14 and will buy a Barnett clutch pack, springs/collars.

Two queries, looking at the Ducati parts manual there seems to be an internal clutch cover that goes over the clutch before the crank case cover is screwed on, is this part necessary?

Also does it need a gasket or will gasket sealent do?

Cheers

Paul

Paul,
bin the internal cover and just use 3 bond on the casing.

Standard they have an internal steel cover that bolts to the inside of the right engine cover with a big lump of sound deadening rubber trapped behind it, this is removed on most of the race bikes
