airbrushing or decals on a lid
anyone know how its treated if I put something, logo or even number, on my helmet when I get to scrut? I'm thinking of a plain helmet with a number or logo airbrushed on the side and/or back or a multi colour lid with a sticker 7

I think Ron had a number 2 on his helmet last year (no pun intended) so no worries.

I use this helmet. Might have to buy a new one now, didn't think about the fact that having a number on it might clash with my/others numbers

My dads got that lid in black grey and white looks quite smart. Really light weight and quiet on all accounts.

On a serious note: If I wear mine with a seven on, which isn't my race number obviously, will I be allowed to wear it?!

AGV GP Tech Seven

There's an extra large on ebay for £200, but not many around at the moment from a brief search. This was a £400 quid top of the range lid a few years back so might be worth searching one out. This place has them in Germany

I got one from Hein Gericke for about £200 a couple of years ago. Think I have XS of I recall, even though I've a S/M in other brands so I'd definitely suggest trying one as they do fit a little differently

Agree, the grey looks cool as well.

I loved the feel of the lid compared to the Arai Chaser I also tried. The AGV was much more racy feeling, tight in certain pressure and feeling very secure versus the comfortable plush fit and lining of the Arai. Odd that I bought an extra small in the AGV when I was a small in Arai and medium in HJC?!

Skids the scrute can give the official answer, but having seen people race with a #41 Haga lid when that wasn't their race number, I can't see a massive problem.

As for stickers.... Just make sure the glue is helmet friendly.
