warped discs
Anyone troubled by warped front brake discs on their ST4S ?

I have already had one set replaced at about 2k miles from new and now this set is warped at about 11.5k miles !. I wouldn't say I was particularly hard on them, either. I'll get it replaced at the imminent annual service but it's a bit of a nuisance.

Is this an isolated problem ?

I seem to remember that there was a warranty issue with disks on some of the ST series but that was a while ago. The disks on my st2 were warped at about 18000 miles i think it was but i chopped it in against the st4 and never changed them. The ST4 has 14,500 on it and its fine despite some hard use.

Paul.

My front's warped by about 9000 and were changed at the 12,000 service. I also had the calipers changed for the new 999 4 pad type. The disk's were replaced with 999 units as well. Done 18,000 now and no re-occurance yet..............
