Extended Warranty???????

In my local dealer (displayed/Hidden) is the "opportunity" to buy an additional years warranty.

£ 280 quid which is 6.2% of the cost of the warranty rebuild this year (yes £4,500).

Tell me your thoughts and justify my "buying" (Ducati "offered" to extend my warranty by one month) another in 2005.

does it include roadside...and is it a Ducati backed warranty rather than aftermarket type??

Extended warranties are like going to Las Vegas. You might win, but the odds are against it.

Your dealer's profit on a £280 warranty is probably around £150, which may tell you why they think it's such a good opportunity.
