Lucky on a few counts really......

He wasn't going that fast (so he didn't hit the wall or car and the bike didn't hit it that hard).

The car wasn't going that fast and could stop.

The car wasn't a copper

Just for fun ive added some more photos to that page. you will see how police,fire,locals,visitors and competitors go round. you can see a close up of a competitor with his visor steamed up and his screen broken,this often happens from a bird strike or stone being thrown up from the guy in fronts wheel. As he rounds the bend he will come head on into the bright evening sun making it near impossible to see ahead.Hope you like them.

I'm not surprised it went away, he should have been out on the central white line to take the apex of the corner. He was right in by the kerb. Basic road positioning not being used.
