1000ss loud cans
i want to get the real ducati noise, but no-one seems to list loud cans foe the 1000DS SS.
Does anyone know if the 900SS fit, or where i can get cans for the 1000SS???

Yep,fitting is the same as the 900SS i.e.
Loads of can options,Termignoni,LeoVince,Arrow,SilMotor, etc, etc .Low or high level, carbon, alloy,Ti.
Buy Termi's from your local Ducati dealer and the rest from places like Spareshack,Cornerspeed, etc.

Dont forget, fitting cans will effect the fueling, you will need a new cpu or a Power Commander.

Ditto what Keefy B said.....

Although some make of cans i.e. Scorpions dont need any re-mapping, simple bolt on jobbies.

Remus is also a good buy, best keeping an eye out on e-bay. ;-)

I was planning on keeping the original cans for getting the bike through the MOT. That appears to be the only thing our local tester checks! Oh and every time he reckons the bike needs a new chain regardless of if it has just been fitted. Seems to say the same thing every year.
Once (on an older bike) he said the disks were looking worn, and may need new ones. BUT the bike was fitted with DRUM brakes!

My cans have cataylitic conveters in them anyway, and i doubt if that does much for the power output.

Sorry i cant be of help.
