Does anyone rent or lend trailers?
Hi y'all,

I am going up to Lakes District for a week. Rather than leave my wife in the car with our 6 month old son and me fighting a sore backside on the M6 I wanted to hire / borrow a trailer.

I live in SW London, have a 2001 750 SSie and would need the trailer from approx 18-26th Sept.

"Red SPS" seemed to be offering his trailer for loan but a U2U has not got any response.

Any help appreciated.

PS Only passed my test in July. Despite warnings about Ducati's as suspect 1st bikes I have found mine to be fantastic. Once I learn to ride it without looking a complete newbie, I will hope to meet some guys a the various bike meets next year. So many questions I would probably crash the DSC message bord; there must be an easier way to clean a chain, is a 748 carbon hugger the same as a 750SS, how fast could my bike go round a corner, what does it sound like when not sat on it, oh, and where can you borrow a trailer???

dennis, you should have allready receieved a reply, sent sometime ago.

Trailer is being used by rattler at present, but will be back shortly.

offer still stands, but I should have made it terms clearer.

Peeps need to be registered paid up DSC members, not just board members.
That way I do have a reasonable amount of info, address etc of who's got it, and if it goes walkabout, who to chase.
This may sound a bit harsh , but it is a free offer, and the trailer is nearly new.

Red,

Is your trailer a 1 or 2 bike trailer?

Thanks,

Ade.

It's one track at the moment - but I'm working on it with him to turn it into two so I get up to Rocky but don't tell him....(I think Rattler is borrowing at present),

Some van hire companies do hire out trailers - dont know if they are nationwide but a company I've used in the past Transmore hire sis used to hire them out.

Good luck
