FS: 2000 748E £3150ono

The time has finally come to let my much loved 748 go, I'v owned her for 6 years now, and although I am still very much in love, I need something different to renew my interest one way or another, as I just don't ride her enough.

Some of you will have seen some of my recent post's, I was planning to take her to france for lemans 24hrs in june. But I'v whimped out and decided to go by car, its my stag do after all, possibly safer! This like many other rides that get put off is why she needs to go, I also need the money and also want something different, maybe an 1100s, maybe a 250 smoker.

So, in 6 years I'v made her my own;

50mm exhausts
JHP filter
JHP chip to suit
QR sprocket mount
Renthal sprockets and DID gold chain
Lighter action clutch slave cylinder
FBF clip on mounts
Single and dual seat unit
Braking wave disks
Datatool alarm (later model without annoying beeps)

Initially she had a major service by GP performance, post this I have been doing it myself, I'm an eng graduate, licensed heli engineer and the biggest DIY petrol head ever, I'm a true geek and will never skimp on something or not fully understand what I am doing before I do it. She's been well looked after.

Last year saw all valve clearances reset, (very pain stakingly perfect) and belts replaced, plus usual plugs, oils, etc, this year has seen those clearances checked and belt tension checked also, will all be good for another year. Fresh iridiums fitted, new magnecor leads fitted, fuel filter changed, in tank pipes replaced and fresh battery fitted. She's also wearing a barely scrubbed set of brand spanking new Diablo Rosso II's, which she really handles well on, 70 section front.

Oil filter is sat in the garage awaiting some oil, this will be changed along with an mot carried out before sale. (just noticed its due)

Only downside to this machine is the non original paint work, which she's had since I got her, but its not a bad job, just not original. I think price reflects this.

Call me, John, on 07786061647, or pm me on here.
