Almost got Totaled today !!! :/

Well i thought i was a goner today, started off when a mate and i pulled out of Carbeth inn just past milngavie on the way to Balmaha, we came up behind a White corsa that was Driving a bit Eratically, so my mate signalled me to give him plenty Space as the guy was driving like an Idiot. So in the space of 3 miles he had overtaken 4 cars on blind Corners, i was in Shock at his Manouvers, a mile or so on there was a nice big straight which i overtook him on then up came a sharp right hander which i took carefully.

Then it all happened, the guy in the Corsa didnt brake for the corner, i watched him in my mirror as he aproached the bend, he almost ran up the back of me then lost control of the back End, ideSwiped a Porsche Ceyanne that was oncoming, Spun over onto the oncoming Traffic and got T-Boned by a Citroen ZX, All the while my mate was behind 15 - 20 feet or so, he went through the carnage like it was something out the matrix, being narrowly missed by the Porcshe 4 x 4. Never heard such a loud bang and spraying of Shrapnel in my life. To sum it up, no one was hurt & it was just as well as it took 20 mins for the Helicoptor to come as there was no ambulances Available.

Lucky Lucky man, gods were smiling on you guys today.

I'd love to have heard the little chav explaining how he's caused more damage to the Cayenne than his entire life's worth to the insurers.

Yea Swanny, the statement we gave was definetly not in the boy racers favour in the Slightest.

My mate and i had to Hold the 2 guys driving the Porsche off the Chav, they were gonna kill him if they got theyre hands on him, there were 4 people in the 4 x 4.

First thing the chav said when he got out his car was "it wasnt my fault" to which he almost got a kicking. i think the Porsche is a write off.

You cant see it but the Corsa is squashed all the way up to the drivers seat on the other side, if the corsa had a passenger they would be dead.

Glad your ok! Sounds pretty scary, I'd be surprised if the chav even has insurance. I dont know whats going on these days with peoples driving? Hardly a day goes by without me seeing a near accident just in my hometown. Had to take evasive action last week as I approached a roundabout to be confronted by a car full of laughing idiots going across the roundabout the wrong way doing 60 or so in a 30mph. Only a couple of days ago a 2 year old girl was killed crossing the road with her mum in broad daylight about a mile from here. Young lads driving who sped off and abandonded the car leaving the child dying in the road. Makes me so mad. In the last couple of years I have probably reported up to about 10 incidents of very dangerous driving to the police and as far as I know nothing was done at all by them. One time I followed a car that was weaving from kerb to kerb and I phoned the police and told them exactly where this was taking place, I carried on following for about 15 minutes and in that time passed 2 police cars going the opposite direction who did nothing! At one point the car mounted the pavement forcing a pedestrian to jump over a low wall.

I am not having a go at the police but it really winds me up when these idiots can carry on uninterupted driving like this without anything being done about it. And yet early on a Sunday morning there will be 4 officers stopping every bike at the side of the road issuing tickets for non legal exhaust systems etc. I came across the scene of a fatality in the town centre last year where an old bloke was killed by a hit and run driver on a pedestrian crossing, the day after I found out it was my mates grandad 80 old years old who had just nipped to the shop for I think it was a tin of pears or something. Why does it seem as if nothing is done about this? I could walk into town now and guarentee you that they will lads driving through the town centre at 60-80mph through pedestrian crossings etc. Since becoming a father I worry whenever the kids are out in the car with their mother or grandmother because of all this ridiculous behaviour.

Anyway rant over! Weeian glad you are ok, and hope the chav gets whats coming to him.
