Now that British Summer Time is here the local bike nights at the H-cafe have restarted so I popped over to meet up with fellow members, Kev Palmer, Andy Claridge and Matt Larrett.
on arrival I homed straight in on this, took a couple pics and then had a chat with its owner .
He has had it from new in 1979, is now on his 5th crankshaft, Tank if by Newton Equipment so obviously the filler cap is as well. Anti dive is the exact same one as I had Harris make for my Moto Martin back in 1988.
Must be fun owning a bike like this for 35 years

That's how Brembo gold line front calipers were in those days Neil and as with my Moto Martin they used the same on the rear. Awesome brakes in their day compared to the naff stuff on Jap bikes like a Z1000
