Electrical Problems

Right guys the 916 is still not running! Had my new rectifier fitted on Friday by a dealer and the bike fired into life. However upon being switched off my dealer couldn't get it to start, he racked his brains and suspected the ECU was knackered! He removed the ECU and fitted a 916SPS one he had and immediately the bike ran as normal. Anyway again after turning the ignition off the bike failed to start again. However if the bike is turned on and off in under 10 seconds the bike will run excellent, anyway what this did confirm was that the ECU was not knackered..........massive sigh or relief! Anyway what he has got it down to is that when the bike is switched off after 10 seconds the engine management relay trips out and it takes removing the ECU to reset it. This I suspect and he does too is that there is a problem on the relay wiring somewhere. Anyway this was Friday at 3.30pm and all the guys from the dealer were booked on a 6pm ferry to IoM for the TT's hence the shop is shut for a week. Whilst I have every faith that he will resolve the problem I thought it might be worth a note on here just in case someone else has had the same problem as I still haven't rode the 916 this year. Any help would be appreciated PS Are all Ducatis like this?
