I'm all for capitalism and entrepreneurial spirit, but once in a while stuff comes along which plumbs new depths.

http://www.bumvertising.com/ Apparently this guy pays anything from $1 to $5 per day for people to hold up this advertising sign, but that's not the disturbing part. Using such a controversial method to advertise has generated a huge amount of media publicity for which the 'employees' get absolutely nothing. The most disturbing thing of all is that there are significant numbers of people who can't seem to see anything at all wrong with exploiting the weakest members of society.
