would you not need to mod a 748 9*6 frame for the RS to fit?

You don't have to fit and RS airbox. But, fitting an RS motor without a big box is a bit pointless. Of course, it fits an R frame.

Also the RS uses the bigger size engine mounts and has larger inlet rubbers for the shower injection, easy swap if you hace a 748R but if you have a BP you would need to do a bit more, got to remember the RS runs a 54mm Exhaust as standard which along with the 54mm throttle bodies help it to deliver its 124bhp

You could get around this using standard throttle bodies used with a power commander. The power comander could also be used to set the rev range to give the engine longevity aswell. Ideally an R frame would suit but it can be used in a bp.
