But with a £35K price tag, its a step too far.

What the hell would you do with it? keep it in the bedroom, you certainly wouldnt wanna ride it and you`d be insane to track day it...

£7.45 and count yourself lucky you're not offering a 999, i'd have wanted the Vrod just to take that off your hands.

If I had

a) the money
b) the ability

yes, to the road and the track

certainly looks good enough to take to the bedroom

be rude not to.

There`s another article in this weeks MCN on the new machines.

I`m not a supermotard fan but having seen the new supermotard at the Festa Ducati meeting at the nurburgring a few months ago I can tell you all that its a stunner!

Ducati seem to be almost outdoing the japs in producing new modelsat the moment.

Looking at Ducati's 2007 range on their website. is the 1098 really going to be the only "superbike" Ducati offer?

So, not only is the 999 being discontinued, but no 748/9 variant will be available in the future?

Is this really the case?

Sorry to say but if I had a Desmo it wouldn't be road registered as it would be a track only tool, absolutely no point on the road but imagine it on track where it belongs and what it was designed for.....
