They are the circular key variety that you can open with a ball point pen. That's why they're giving them away. I wouldn't depend on it to stop even a slightly determined thief.

That was a great saving as I had been thinking of getting a replacement for my bic opening one any way.

Now Im thinking maybe I can give one each to the kids for christmas (they are 5 & 6)
