ultralase or similar eye laser - any experience

Hi,

Mrs Carbon is considering having Ultralase eye corrective laser treatment. Her prescription is around -7 and falls within the limits that they will treat.

Has any one used ultralase or similar .... any recommendations or warnings.

OK, a few early replies look positive, so next question ..... how much ? any guidlines ?

u2u Dibble or Webby C, I know both of them have had this treatment and swear by it. I fall outside the limit so couldn't be treated

My mates wife has had it done......best thing she's ever done she says. What the treatment cost......she gets back in 2 years with the cost of contacts that she has used in that time. No glasses at all now. My personal opinion....you need your eyes...they help. Dunno how much of a risk it is. Thats something only the dr's will tell you. Thats the million dollar question.

I am outside of the range

but I know probably six people who have had it done they all think it was great and enjoy the benefits, only one really suffered any discomfort.

I would definitely get it done if i could.

Had Lasik back in August, better than 20/20 the following day in both eyes.

Had my final check on friday and now discharged as all is as it should be

Absolutely no regrets at all.
