Not heard of any yet, have a look on multistrada.net if someone has fit one you will find it on there they seem to fit every accessory going bar the kitchen sink! Though theres time yet. Do you really think it needs one? Mine wags its bars a bit over fast crests etc but never feels like its going to turn into a tankslapper.

Its the first bike I have had for many a year without one in fact since my Fireblade in the mid 90s which had a habit of going 'lock to lock' at the slightest provacation. Frightened me half to death twice where the tankslapper stopped as suddenly as it started but left me with no brakes for the first few pulls of the front lever. A horrible feeling you survive the tank slapper only to brake and nothing happens! Ended up squeezing the lever frantically and then hey presto the front wheels locked up and the tyres howling! The first time I was gaining on a caravan that was doing about 80mph slower than I was and the second time was aproaching a 90 degree bend from a long straight. I always had a ohlins damper after that!

I've not really looked but I am sure that the type of damper fitted to the new fireblade will be available as an aftermarket fitting? which as far as I know does not mount like a conventional damper between forks/headstock and frame but just sits on top of the top and does its stuff by magic.

Just had a peek on Multistrada.net for you and sure enough there are dampers available. There is a DP one as well as some other make I cannot remember. Also I think some bloke was having some brackets made to fit an Ohlins damper. worth a look if you are after one.

Thanks Martin, mine is doing the same as yours over fast crests and some fast bends but was`nt sure if it might get worse.( cure is better than repair ) Ducati do one for the multi so ill probably go ahead and sort it, if nothing else its more "bling"

Hey Rooney ! thanks for ya constructive comments at least i dont puke in my mates garden after a glass or two
