Ducati meets dealers from around the world in the Global Dealer Conference “Beyond the Ordinary Roads”

  • The Ducati Global Dealer Conference is the annual event that brings together the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer with its global network of dealers
  • More than 4,000 professionals connected to the convention digitally from 86 different countries around the world
  • Particular focus was placed on sharing strategic choices, planning future actions and previewing Ducati models for 2025

Borgo Panigale, Bologna, 23 October 2024 – The 2024 edition of the Ducati Global Dealer Conference took place on Monday 21 October. It is the annual event that allows the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer to connect with its global network of dealers, take stock of the past year, share strategies, projects and preview new models.

The Global Dealer Conference is one of the cornerstones of Ducati's events calendar and 2024 was again conducted entirely digitally, allowing every dealer from any part of the world to virtually connect with the Borgo Panigale headquarters. The convention was simultaneously translated into 8 languages and scheduled online at different times to accommodate all time-zones, generating a great participation result: in total, more than 4,000 professionals took part in the meeting, connected from 86 different nations.

The claim chosen by the Borgo Panigale Company for the 2024 Global Dealer Conference is “Beyond the Ordinary Roads”: a motto that fully summarises the approach with which Ducati looks at the priorities and challenges that await it over the next years, starting from the new path in the Off-Road world with the Ducati Desmo450 MX, which has just won the Italian Motocross Championship and will be available for orders right at the beginning of 2025.

Led by Francesco Milicia, VP Global Sales and After Sales, with the participation of Ducati CEO, Top Management and product experts, a good part of the meeting focused on the pursuit of the Company strategy and its strengthening, to analyse in detail how to tackle the business objectives, always in full expression of the values of Style, Sophistication, Performance that distinguish Ducati worldwide.

The conference also saw the participation of Pietro Innocenti, CEO of Porsche Italia, who shared some virtuous business management examples of the German brand's dealer network. Among the guests on stage was nine-time Motocross World Champion Antonio Cairoli, now an integral part of the Ducati team engaged in the Off-Road project.

One of the most anticipated moments of the Global Dealer Conference was undoubtedly the preview presentation of the Ducati models for 2025. Global dealers were able to discover the features and innovations of the entire new Ducati range, which to date has already been enriched by the arrival of the new Panigale V4, the renewed Multistrada V4 MY2025 family and three new models for Scrambler: the Icon Dark, Full Throttle and Scrambler Ducati 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition. In the coming weeks, other new models will be presented to the public in the Ducati World Première, confirming the Borgo Panigale Company's goal of focusing on an increasingly extensive and complete product range.

As with every digital edition, during the live broadcast, participants were able to interact with Francesco Milicia, Ducati VP Global Sales & After Sales, thanks to an always-active chat that allowed real-time communication. Another opportunity open to all was the virtual tour of the Ducati Museum and Factory.

The Ducati Dealer Awards were celebrated during the convention, with the best dealerships in the three main geographical areas being recognised for their excellent results, as well as awards for the best online dealer globally and the best importer.

The National Meetings were also held as part of the Global Dealer Conference, representing a further opportunity to share and discuss the latest developments and objectives of each geographical area, but also to answer questions and gather feedback to improve.

Through the Global Dealer Conference, Ducati is committed to further strengthening synergy with its dealerships, which act as brand ambassadors and key points of contact between the Company and the vast community of Ducatisti. It is precisely through its distribution network that the motorcycle manufacturer is able to guarantee a high-quality service, successfully promote its products and spread the passion for Ducati throughout the world.

To date, the Ducati sales network includes more than 800 dealers in over 90 countries worldwide. The Ducati website features a Dealerships section with the “Dealer Locator” service that provides information on the services and opening hours of all dealerships in the network.
