Perfect Sunday for Bautista who triumphs in the Superpole Race and Race-2. Bulega twice on the podium (P3). Fifth place for Huertas who maintains a healthy lead in WorldSSP

It was a Sunday to remember for Alvaro Bautista, the protagonist of two fantastic races in his home GP.
The Spaniard won the Superpole Race after a long battle with teammate Nicolò Bulega and then Razgatlioglu (BWM), whom he overtook with a spectacular move on the last lap.
However, the victory in Race 2 resulted from a solid race pace. Bautista holds the first position at the first corner and starts a duel with Ragzatlioglu, characterised by an endless series of ‘fast laps’ to which the Turkish rider cannot respond in the last three laps.

Nicolò Bulega finishes third in the Superpole Race after holding the lead for a long time. In Race 2, the Italian rider is involved in a brutal fight in the first two laps, which causes him to lose many positions, finding himself in ninth place. His comeback, however, is relentless, and he retakes the podium zone with seven laps to the end, finishing in third place.

‘It was a very nice Sunday also because I had a lot of fun riding my bike. Compared to yesterday, the feeling was much better, and this allowed me to push hard already in the Superpole Race to overtake Nicolò and Toprak, who were having a great race. In Race 2 the battle with Toprak was exhausting. I am delighted to have given great satisfaction to my family, friends and all the fans who came to Aragon’.

‘On the first lap, I got involved in some pretty aggressive overtaking that caused me to lose a lot of ground compared to the leading group. It wasn't the start I wanted, but I stayed focused and made up position after position. Alvaro and Toprak, however, were too far away. Still, the satisfaction of this result remains: a podium is always a podium’.

Adrian Huertas could not find the feeling of Race-1 and had to settle for fifth place, which still allows him to keep 41 points ahead of Montella (Ducati) in the World Supersport Championship standings.
