| Oil filter leak
So yesterday my 750ss decided to leak oil out over the back tyre, not fun. I traced it this morning to the oil filter. Filter was lock wired on so shouldn’t have come loose. The oil warning light did not come on when this happened. The bike has done about 100 miles since oil and filter change. I have removed the oil filter cleaned all the mating surfaces but it is still leaking. When I took the old filter out when I did the oil change the threaded part came out of the alloy casing but seemed ok and went back in. Anyone any thoughts on how to rectify this problem? Thanks. |
