Even without the fuel pump running there will be enough fuel in the float bowls to keep it running for a while.

Normally when i run them I take 12 volts from the battery to the Ignition switch(be it the original with a key or a toggle switch). Out of that Ignition switch I split in to two each with a inline fuse, one feeds the right hand switch gear and the other the fuel pump. the one to the right switch gear goes to the common between the start button and the kill switch so pressing the button feeds it to the start solenoid and turning the kill switch to run puts it on the coils and ignition modules - simples

Thanks Kev. I have been in contact with Andy turner today and he said there is two looms on the bike. The original one which sill has all the old connector blocks around the bike for lights etc that I don't need anyway. And he said there is another one a race loom that u made him. Because I don't need any of the road gear on there I would like to get rid of all the stuff not needed anymore and just get a single race loom sorted.
