large underbelly

not the removal of christmas pud .. i want to tidy up my bodywork and make it fit snug

At the mo i think the bellypan is too wide and i want to thin it by 5cm or so

was thinking i'd just cut it down the middle, trim it to the width i want then put a strip of fibreglass top and bottom

anyone got any tips / better ideas / would just like to laugh at my foolish plan

Nowt wrong with that. I run a ricambi Weis road monster type. Open in the bottom for exhaust pipe. I just fabricated a plate from sheet Alum, rivet and seal.
