Well look at the attached spread sheet I think you'll find some interesting results. I have applied a revised point scoring system of 35 for a 1st, 34 = 2nd 33 = 3rd etc.
Interesting, but you really need a 5,4,3,2,1 gap at the top, otherwise it's not a big enough reward for winning.
MotoGP, WSB, BSB, and every other championship is done this way... 25, 20, 16, 13, 11, 10, 9...
I think the idea of DD scoring (top 25) is that everyone scores a point (or close to). Not sure I fully agree with that aspect, but it worked OK last season, and it's something else to make DD a bit different.

WoooHoooo... I'm third! You going to buy me a trophy too murray?!?!
Well it proves a point in that if you are consistent then you will be rewarded with a better final position, and no I’m not getting you a trophy.

Just because other championships are run this way does not make it fair, I think there would be more incentive to win if the points were harder to obtain.

we don't ? LOL
I just don't see what is wrong with motogp style points ? If you don't get into the top 15 you don't get points simple as that, if everyone gets points where is the incentive ? Maybe give the aldi class points and food vouchers for everyone , then make class A proper points
My point here is that at the top of the table there can be some people that are not consistently scoring points but may have a few good results and end up above those riders that have been up there throughout the season, maybe the points should not be distributed any further than say 15th position and this would encourage those riders to try harder.
