I'm soon going to be replacing the rear shock on my 1999 996 Bip. I have replaced the rear shock on both my VFR800 and my Fireblade in the past with no issues at all.
I would say i was very competent when it came to working on my bikes, but i would like some information on anything that i should be aware of or do/not do when i replacing it. I know that there is a ride height adjuster on my bike so is there anything that i need to take into account regarding this when i do it?
the lower bolt passes through both of them Although I have had a few jobs unseizing Rideheight adjusters, sometimes I've had to scrap them and find a replacement, which isn't hard
