Drill sizes I use for tapping metric threads

M4 use 3.3mm Drill
M5 use 4.2mm Drill
M6 use 5.0mm Drill
M8 use 6.8mm Drill as Phil Said
M10 ISO Metric use 8.5mm Drill
M10 Metric Fine use 8.8mm Drill

Well I've not fit the bobbins yet but done my first ever tapping to fit the toe guard. Thanks for all the info on sizes of drill and taps. It worked out just great and was loads of fun to do!

Bobbins finally fitted to the alloy Swingarm. I just drilled and tapped the billet section - similar to skids. Case, finally after loads of measuring, closed.
