I've used GT 85 on my mountain bike for years, cleaned with a proper chain cleaner, which I must say is very good after every ride. I have notice that they are now made for motorbike chains anyone ever used one? Any way my mountain bike chain looks as good as new still shiny and that really does get some stick. The GT 85 is basically the same as WD40 but contains PTFE which is the main substance in the dry chain lubes. I think I’ll give it a go on my Duke unless any one can think why not.
I use a toothbrush and rag and WD40 to clean the chain. Then I use Castrol Chain Wax to lube.....but.....seeing the replies on this thread I think I will now just stick with the WD40 and maybe a rag of engine oil round the chain.
